BAHAHA! That’s not a stupid question! Yes, I do vacuum the rugs, they get very crumb-y! I use the new Dyson which works really well but when I get close to edges it sucks up the corners if I pull the vacuum backwards (if that makes sense). While I love Dysons because they suck EVERYTHING up, it’s really heavy…. I’d probably try to find a lighter one if I were to buy a new vacuum. Hope that helps! Thanks for reading!!

Thanks so much, Dawn! Yes they would! I haven’t had a dining room in the last two homes I built! Why do I need one when we have a large expandable table and a good sized kitchen? The entire family is here on two days out of 365…. so playroom trumps dining room! 🙂

Carol! This is the sweetest comment!!! I’m glad I’m back just so I could read your comment! haha :)And thank you so much for all of the kind words. It was a nice kitchen before I just wasn’t sure the pinkish walls would go too well with my browns and grays…. I’m surprised that we saw so many ways to improve as well! The book is supposed to hit stores by Mother’s Day, that’s the goal! It’s complete just in final edits and all of the behind the scenes work 🙂
