Spring is just around the riverbend! I’m on a Disney high still from our recent Disney World trip so that reference was 100% intentional 😉
The color trends we will start seeing this spring are probably the boldest colors I’ve seen for this season in a while, earthy tones will still be the base of the aesthetic in most decor styles but paired with colors we typically think of for fall months. Deep yellows, dark browns, vivid plums, and ruby reds aren’t what I think of when I envision a spring vibe but these are the colors that are forecasted to be the popular hues.
With that being said, I am just not a huge fan of bold colors for Spring- I said it. I personally want a more calm aesthetic since my house is very full and decorated in bold colors during the Christmas season. While I love all the classic red and green decor, my eyes and mental health yearn for a more subdued color scheme come January 🙂 While I embrace deep, rich greens and warm tans and browns, I also love to mix in lighter colors such as creams and dusty pinks to add more life and interest to my spaces! So now that you understand where my head is at when it comes to spring decor versus what’s “trending”, below are a few pieces for your home that I really love (some of them I own) and provide a neutral yet beautiful color palette!
