Happy SPRING!

I cannot believe it’s almost May. I honestly can’t believe that we’re almost halfway done with 2026, to be honest. Time always flies but 2026 seems to be flying at tremendous speed.

For all of my fellow home decorators, below are some of the most popular color trends being seen this Spring. I was a little shocked that the “Color of the Year” was…. white (lol) but went ahead and included it as a good neutral While butter yellow and soft blues are still popular from 2025 spring trends, I’m personally loving the moodier colors being used for Spring! Why? Because they are colors that can be used year round and that is ALWAYS a huge win when buying new home decor. Christmas is pretty much the only decor I’ll buy knowing that it will only be used in November and December- other than that I need my decor, pillow covers and home furnishings to be able to work together January through October!

Decor trends typically follow home design trends, i.e. paint colors and wallpaper designs, but below are some items that will help you introduce new colors and trends into your home without having to commit to painting an entire room Burgundy- because that’s just a real commitment.

Summer Fun! Outdoor, Fashion, Kids, Decor, & More!

Hope you’re enjoying your Summer so far! I can’t believe our Summer is coming to an end here in Texas. This year, the school year got bumped up by one week, and I have to admit that I want that week back, lol! This Summer was a very low-key Summer for us, which was nice. One camp for each child (last Summer we had day camps set up for most of the weeks per our kids’ request), less structure throughout the day, and a lot of “you guys find something to do together!“, and I’m shocked at how easy the Summer was, honestly! While I do love a normal schedule, I don’t think I’m ready for it this year, I am really focusing on enjoying the last few weeks of Summer while we still have it! How are you feeling about school revving back up?

Below are some things we have really enjoyed this Summer, from cute and comfy dresses, shoes, toys, skin care, to family hobbies- it’s all here! I’ve talked about most of these items on Instagram the past few months and thought a little middle/end of Summer roundup would be a good way to save them somewhere for easy shopping Enjoy, friends! Outfit Diaries – 30 Pictures of My Favorite Recent Fall Outfits!

Welcome to my clothing diary!

I’ve never really done anything like this but figured I should make use of all of the outfit photos I have! I’ll take pictures a lot and save them, mainly because I’ll wear an outfit, love it, and then never wear it again because I forget I ever wore it lol. Picking out an outfit for anything other than errands or school pickup feels the same as trying to decide what to make for dinner most days and I really don’t need one more thing to over think in my life! This week I also started a separate pictures folder on my phone where I am saving all of my outfit pictures, something I’ve really never thought to do! We’ll see if it makes my life easier like I think it will

If any of this sounds like you then hopefully this post will be helpful for you! Copy these outfits exact or look for items in your closet to recreate similar looks! Everything in this post is here for a reason, that reason being I love it and deem it worth it’s price! I’ve included notes for some of the items, not all simply because that would be a gigantic novel of a post- I tend to buy the smallest size available so if I have anything not in my normal size I will make note of that! If there are no notes it means fits TTS and is amazing without explanation

Jeans: I have always loved these jeans. They are a true straight leg, the perfect jean for someone who wants more of the skinny-jean look versus the flare or wide leg pant. There is enough room for a boot to fit under the pant, as seen here. These jeans don’t have a ton of stretch and keep their shape PERFECTLY, no matter how long you’ve been sitting!

Vest: This vest is crazy soft, like cashmere soft and fits a little oversized covering the booty if you wanted to wear buttoned up with leggings.

Boots: LOVE love love these boots. They fit TTS and have a very chunky almost platform heel which makes them very comfortable to wear all day or night. I have super high arches and have never experienced any discomfort with these- they are my “go-to” black boot in my closet. Can’t recommend them enough!

Every day casual! I also wear this with high top shoes for an even more “I just threw it on vibe”

Denim jacket: I have this denim jacket in five different colors- so that alone is saying something! This is a true denim fabric- not super thin which gives it amazing shape, great quality and some warmth when wearing! I also love this denim layer with shorts in the Fall or Spring months, this truly is an all year round piece!

Black basic tee: The very best! Fitted, stretch soft soft soft and not a bodysuit. Normal length!

Casual holiday gathering or when I have to run up to the kids school looking presentable with minimum effort.

Sweater dress: This is actually a dress! It’s so cute as an oversized cozy sweater though- shown here. Super soft, great sleeve detail and a true loose turtleneck fit. SO so cozy for colder days because it’s so soft!

Vest: Yes, it’s as good and as comfy as it looks. It’s oversized and provides actual warmth!

I think this is my current favorite outfit! I’d wear this anywhere for anything, I just feel so casual chic in it!

Shirt: Is AWESOME. This shirt should be a closet staple for everyone, I love it so much! It can be dressed up or dressed totally down, either way it looks so effortlessly chic! It’s very light weight and SUPER silky soft. It is very long in the back- goes way past the butt, one of the mail reasons I like it!

Jeans: A MUST HAVE for wide leg comfy jeans. These are basically pajama pants lol. I’ll wear these if I have to wear pants but don’t want pants.

Tee: The perfect loose tee! Very soft, comes in a 3-pack, white is a little see-through if you’re wearing a black bra (I am in this photo, actually.)

Vest: It’s reversible!

Hat: NEW Armor Brewing merch! My favorite hat of all time because of the colors we have as well as the fit!

Sweater: Your new favorite sweater! Trust me.

Purse: I am loving this dark cherry red! I’ve never been a red fan and I am really leaning into it this Fall. I feel like it’s the new neutral this season If you don’t like wearing red, try accessorizing with it!

Cardigan: Butter. Made of actual butter, guys.

Bow flats: I typically don’t like flats but these are ADORABLE! You can’t tell from the picture but the bow detail is so cute for a casual outfit but also more dressy! Very comfy- has padding in sole! I also have them in red for that new neutral pop

My new favorite sleek holiday party outfit. I also have it in green- stunning!

Vest: This sherpa vest is 20x cuter in person- pics don’t do it justice. I get compliments all day when I wear it. I’ve had a lady screenshot it in my amazon app while standing in a line at a store!

I just love a good, classic oversized denim on denim look. That is all

Jean: Another super comfy jean! Jeans to wear when you don’t want to wear pants, they do give a little the more you wear them. They are soft and not as tight/ stiff as some other Levi’s I have.

Leggings: Fav of all time. This is the brand I will destroy my legging drawer to find. I should probably donate all of the others I have at this point!

Boots: Love these! I also have them in the army green color. So chucky and chic and also indestructible! lol

Dress: This will be your new favorite dress. It’s soft like cashmere and just hangs off. So dang comfy. I also have in red!

Boots: Obsesseddddd with these! My favorite new shoe this season! Love the chucky heel for comfort and they kind of mimic a cowgirl boot in a nice subtle way.

So sleek but also can wear to church- we love to see it!

Basic Tee: The best fitted long sleeve tee I own. Very soft!

Skirt: So so cute. Super soft, lots of colors!

I wore this to my end of year tennis party

What I wore to my photoshoot for the new flavor of Glow! Classic black on black- my comfort zone

Oversized Puffer Vest: I love incorporating color into vests and layering pieces. I feel like it’s less of a commitment and not as “trendy”… I feel like a red vest will last longer than a trendy red top because layering pieces tend to stay in style longer, ever notice that?

Denim top: I also wear this unbuttoned as a layering piece in Fall and Spring. It is light weight- thinner than real denim!

Shoes: I love these clogs. I feel like they are the acceptable houseshoe for out of the house. So dang comfy and a Fall/ Spring staple! I even see people wearing these with leggings and socks for a super casual cozy vibe!

Take me back to Boston!

Coat: Favorite coat of the season and it’s REVERSIBLE! seriously so cute and crazy warm. This is a true coat.

Vest: You’ll love it! So dang soft- I would obviously wear this with a fitted long sleeve tee now that temps have dropped! Can also be worn unbuttoned or in warmer temps by itself as pictured. Super versatile!

Jeans: Such cool pants! I like them for dressing up a casual outfit as seen above. The split hem looks SO good with pointy toe boots!

Oh, Vermont. We all miss you. We will definitely be going back!

Coat: This is the reversible coat from the Boston sweatshirt picture! I was very cold in Vermont so I flipped the sherpa to the inside.

Another sight-seeing in Boston outfit! The comfort level for all of these items is unmatched!

Jeans: A great jean if you like the barrel jean style but not TOO much! They are so comfy and adorable!

I’ve worn this exact outfit so many times!

Sweater: Stupid soft! That is all!

I know the off the shoulder isn’t for everyone but I love it! This sweater could be dressed up so well!

Another tennis fit

Pullover: I have this pullover in three colors- it’s the bomb. Super cute, cozy and the quality is amazing! The royal blue color is STUNNING!

Sweater: Super soft and cozy- needs no under shirt! The details make it look so good quality wise.

Happy Halloween week! Come ON cold weather! I WANT SOUPS!

We’re supposed to have a few days of rain this week and weekend and I am so so hopeful that cooler temps will be brought along with it. I already have all of the ingredients to make chili ready to go as long as temperatures are in the 70s or less- it’s on! Meanwhile, some of y’all have had snow already, which is wild! Off of the topic of weather- another color series Fall Fashion Edition has made its way to your inboxes :)I started the color series posts years ago based on some readers’ preferences for easier shopping and it has stuck on me ever since! I try to have a color post out with every change of the season as well as when home style trends shift, I hope you enjoy them! Fall Fashion & My Fav Accessories! Belts, Jackets, Purses, & More!

Happy FALL, Y’ALL!

Gosh, I am missing Vermont weather SO badly! Last week was our kids’ Fall break and we decided to take them to Boston (only Mike had ever been before!) and then we road-tripped through New Hampshire and into Vermont where we stayed for a few days. The views and weather were SO nice, cool weather we only dream about here in Texas. In Dallas, it’s super hot and then we get maybe a week or two if we’re lucky with 70-degree weather and then it goes straight to super cold, there is no in between which is unfortunate. So having that patio sitting weather for a week was a real treat!

I wanted to make an update Fall basics “round-up” of all the cooler weather comfy/casual clothes I’m currently loving or will love to wear once it gets colder Below are my fav belts, purses, jackets and coats, comfy jeans, affordable jewelry, basics, and hats! The Eras Tour – Outfits!

As you all know, I went to the Taylor Swift Eras Tour and it was AMAZING! Hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to and I was not expecting that, honestly. I have always loved Taylor and her music so I knew it would be a great experience but it was a GREAT show, the three hours flew by way too fast! I really love the Reputation album, at first I hated it lol but now it’s one of my favorites, so that is the album I dressed as for the concert. I wanted to find some cute Taylor inspired outfits from each era for those of you that will be going to her concerts in the next few months, there is also some great merch below for those who just need cute gift ideas! Each of these graphics include some cute and casual options for those of you that want more comfort, and also some fun over the top options for those of you who want to go ALL OUT! I will say, there wasn’t a single person that I saw at that concert that wasn’t a certain Era. I was very glad that I dressed up! It made for some cute pictures but also made the experience just that much more fun! Hope you find something you love!

Quite possibly my favorite color series to date! I love neutrals because they neverrrrr go out of style. No matter what your design aesthetic is in your home, neutral decor is needed, dare I say, a must! Below are some of my favorite home decor and fashion items from Amazon all categorized by color. While it feels like it’s already Spring here in Dallas, Texas due to the abnormally warm weather, This post is mainly focused on winter… warm and cozy! The coziest of blankets, ceramic vases, comfy sweaters, to my favorite kitchen cleaning cloths that just happen to be gray, this post is random and packed with Amazon’s finest!

FALL COLOR SCHEME. the color scheme redheads live for.

But for real, I’ve never seen a more aesthetically pleasing post! Except for maybe the home decor color series which is coming next week

I started this Color Series last year and got a ton of awesome feedback from y’all, so here we are again! Aren’t Fall colors the best? Clothes, makeup, jewelry, shoes, sunglasses, bags, nail polish, coffee mugs, fragrance oils, hair accessories, the gang is all here.

…now we just need the cold weather.

Happy Tuesday, ladies! (and gents, if any men are reading this!) I’ve been working on this post for a LONG time! I’ve been keeping track of my recent Amazon clothing and shoe purchases, making sure that I share the wins! There were definitely some fails that did not make the list.

I went ahead and incorporated a few prime deals since that is going on today and tomorrow! Mike and I finally purchases a Frame tv and we are PUMPED! I’ve never been excited for a television… this is a first for me.

Hope y’all are having a great week! I’ve got a ton of acne and a baby tooth still in my face that’s giving me issues, but other than that, life is so so good. lol!
